About TEDx KIITUniversity

Year 2016: In the grand scheme of events everything matters, and none other than a chess champion could have better emphasized the significance of small steps. We brought in a scientist, an entrepreneur and a journalist together in the conference of 2016 who ignited the young minds of our university. We managed to cover issues on homosexuality and the intricacies of surrogacy in our talks. While one speaker showed how his 3D modelling startup is a revolutionary break in commercializing 3D modelling, another scientist amazed us with the unending list of his patents and innovations apt for daily usage, farmers and even for the disabled ones.

Year 2017: The conference of 2017 extends its platform to highlight the underlying issues of our community and strives to bring the speakers who are willing to touch the fifth dimension and shatter the norms. We aim to put forward a conference, generic enough to address the singularity of society in the most elegant manner. Our team is already set into motion to get the most innovative and life-changing ideas to light, ideas which may seem small but in reality will reform our lives largely.

A meteor is said to have converted a future Roman emperor to Christianity and thereby leading to the advent of Christianity across the horizons.
The Watergate scandal that changed the course of America’s politics started off with a little incident involving a duct tape. Hitler’s rejection by the Academy of Fine Arts was a catalyst for, his rise as a German dictator and not to forget, the xenophobia that ensued over the years. One train ride in the June of 1990 and Harry Potter was conceived.
